Profile-Larry Merchison

Sullivan Larry has been entertaining since the late 1960's with his own Rock n' Roll band as a singer and lead guitar player. His comedic Ed Sullivan-like imitation was observed by Marty Edwards (Kenny Rogers Tribute Artist "Kinda Kenny") who suggested that Larry persue an Ed Sullivan tribute career. Shortly after, Marty asked Larry to put on the Sullivan face to be the MC for "Put A Little Love In Your Heart" benefit concert which raises money to help abused children. Larry thought this was a joke until he realized that he was listed on the schedule as Master of Ceremonies.
Larry succeeded in creating that finishing touch to the benefit and it was the positive audience reaction that lead him to continue in this field as "Mr. Stoneface".

Vegas Sun Ad Since that first day, Larry has perfomed as a MC for the World Famous Legends of Rock 'n Roll, a cameo appearance in November 2002 on the famous Canadian Gemini Awards, attended the Celebrity Impersonators Convention and performed in the Showcase at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, as well as countless variety shows. He starred in "Ed Sullivan" Presents "Superstar Revue - A Knight of Legends" at the Prairie Knight's Casino in North Dakota and did a one month tour with Randy "Elvis" Friskie - "A Night to Remember".

The Ed Sullivan Caravan Of Stars presented by The Legends of Rock n' Roll is Larry's latest string of shows as he headlines and introduces an exciting tribute of stars across the country!

Also present were Joe Espisito, Road Manager/friend of Elvis Presley for many years, DJ Fontana, Elvis Presley's drummer and Darwin Lamm, Publisher of Elvis International The Magazine.
